Kendra Twitty, MA, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina and Montana who has 25 years of experience working in the mental health profession. She is a Nationally Certified Therapist in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In addition, a practitioner in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), trained in EMDR, Psychodrama, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, Experiential Therapy, and Forensic Interviewing. Kendra's clincial experience in the treatment industry includes direct client care, executive leadership roles at inpatient, outpatient, and outdoor experiential programs. In 2008 she founded Hope and Horses - www.hopeandhorses.com an Equine Assisted Therapy & Learning program. She is an Instructor for Natural Lifemanship, as well as advanced trained in EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association). She presents at National Conferences on the topics of Trauma Informed Care, Equine Assisted Therapy, and is the co-author of the EAGALA endorsed book, “EquiPower- Treating Trauma with the Power and Sensitivity of Horses.”
After over 30 years of partnering with horses, Kendra continues to connect with horses to support individuals in developing healthy relationships with self and others.

Ann O’Brien, MS, NCSC is a retired Nationally Certified School Counselor and Guidance Department Chair, who has over 35 years of experience working in the mental health profession. Certified with a MS in Professional Counseling, she specializes in working with students K-12 and their families. As a trained Traumatic Loss Counselor she supports individuals during trauma work using Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Ann is the co-founder of H.O.P.E. LLC, an Equine Assisted Learning program; is EAGALA Advanced Certified, and an EAGALA Mentor. She presents at National Conferences on the topics of Trauma work, Equine Assisted Therapy and is the co- author of two EAGALA endorsed books: Equi-fit: Health and Wellness through Horses, and EquiPower. After 30 years, Ann continues to partner with horses in order to empower individuals to develop healthy relationships with self and others.
