The goal of the EquiPower Workbook is to assist children/adolescents in healing and moving forward from traumatic events by incorporating the TF-CBT PRACTICE components into Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP). The EAP activities provide the opportunity for experiential learning.  The authors incorporate Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) into the Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Model (TF-CBT) to enhance the learning process of the TF-CBT Model.  Within this Workbook there is a Therapist Facilitation Guide to assist in implementing over 33 equine assisted activities.  Clients interact and build relationships with the horses, while addressing specific treatment goals.
